Scouts Out

Lt Rich Paetz of the Oregon National Guard is making a documentary about the experiences of his men in Iraq last year. Rich was the commanding officer of Joey Coon, an Oregon National Guard Veteran who has been a part of this project from the beginning. This documentary includes their experiences working with Iraqi children.

Hi Kevin:

I wanted to drop by and tell you how awesoem you are for spearheading Project Adnon.

I worked in Hollywood for years, and have been a supporter of Gary Sinese's OIC from Day One, so I am thrilled to see that you have partnered with them! This is what both Gary and Laura hoped would happen when they created OIC!

I consider one of your chosen photographers, Capt Dan Bout, to be the brother I never had. I am glad you are using some of his pics, and I know he is honored to be a part of such a wonderful project.

I've also been fortunate to come to know Lt Rich Paetz when I approached him a while back to offer to help promote his documentary. It's through his site that I found out about the wonderful work you are doing to reach out the children of Iraq. His documentary is evocative and serves as a testimonial to the wonderful heartwarming work our troops do in order to ensure that the twin flames of democracy and freedom never flicker out in Iraq.

I'm also thrilled to know that the Islamic Center of Portland is contributing to this wonderful project.

I can see that you are building bridges in your local community as well as in the global community.

I live with the hope that someday soon, Iraq will reach its full glory and that you will be able to visit the children that Project Adnon helped.

You are an inspiration to teens and adults everywhere!
